Baseball
Overview
- Baseball typically runs from the beginning of April until the end of the school year in June.
- Currently our club is able to run a within-town intramural baseball camp for boys and girls from approximately age 8 up.
- In coming seasons/years, we hope to return to the town historical ability to run teams up to 18 years of age. At this point however we encourage parents and kids interested in more advanced levels of play to look into the excellent program run by the Greenbelt Boys and Girls Club.
- Our baseball camp focuses on kids’ development of age appropriate skills.
- All our practices and games will be held right here in town.
- Parents need to provide kids with a baseball glove and shoes. Other materials needed from practices and games will be provided by the club.
- Each team will have a head coach and a team parent, but we appreciate all parents’ assistance in mentoring and supporting the kids.
Registration
Registration for baseball usually begins in January. Check this website and the Berwyn Heights Newsletter for updated information
