Basketball
Overview
- Basketball usually runs from December until February
- Most practices and games are held at the Berwyn Heights Community Center (6200 Pontiac Street) which is attached to the Berwyn Heights Elementary School.
- Parents need to supply kids with basketball shoes and regular playing clothes. The club will provide kids with a basketball shirt/jersey and equipment needed during practices/games.

Basketball will start this Saturday morning up at the gym.
Boys and girls 7,8,and 9 years old will play from 10:30 to 11:45 AM. This will be with the shorter 8 foot baskets.
The girls and boys that are 10 and above will play from 11:45 to 1:00 PM. With this group we hope to play the girls seperate from the boys. Hopefully we will have enough girls.
If your child is in the older group but has never played basketball before, we can see how many girls there are and then see which group they would be more comfortable with.
