Congratulations to our 12 & under and our 14 & under Girls Softball teams on back to back championships and undefeated seasons! Congratulations also to our 10 & under team for a great season and a much improved 6 - 5 record! The 12 & under team as 12-0 this year with a 22 game winning streak and 2 championship years in a row.
The 14 & under team was 14-0 this year with a 78 game winning streak and 4 county championships in a row.
Overview
Girls Softball typically runs from the end of March until the end of June/ early July
- Most of our practices are held at Sports Park (5600 Berwyn Road) here in town and many games are held here as well.
- Generally we try to field three teams. This includes a 14 and under team (typically ages 13 and 14), a 12 and under team (typically ages 11 and 12), and a 10 and under team.
- Parents need to supply children with a glove, and other appropriate sporting gear. The club will provide the sports equipment such as bats and balls. Throughout the season, we ask parents to supply after game drinks and snacks.
- Each team will have a head coach and team parent, but we appreciate all parents assistance is mentoring and supporting the kids.
Registration
Registration for softball usually begins in January. Check this website and the Berwyn Heights Newsletter for updated information
